I think I am tired of hypocrites, there seem to be so many who have high principles when it suits.
I get insult after insult on someone's blog, try to complain, and then get the blame.
Always be true to yourself, Pam.
Oh well, guess I should be used to that at my age.
Greatest hypocrite of all must be Nick Clegg. Strangely amusing in an odd sort of way.
It's good to see the young generation becoming repoliticised, and great to see the Lewis famly so united against the appallimg policy of Tuition fees.
See Mom and Dad ... Your legacy lives on. You can be sure that your daughters and grandchldren will continue to fight for education and for the opportunities for all. Well done to you all on Facebook this evening. katie's dusting off her protestor scarf, and Lindsey too. Cousins united,
Rest assured, your struggles and hard work was not in vain.
Msiing you both tonight, but hey Dad, the workers, united will never be defeated.
Looks like the new revolution is beginning.

Change
Well now. I am confused. Confused and suspicious.
I have been working in alternative educational provision for seventeen years. I have been working with Tuition for fifteen years. Children who are ill are being taught for up to 10 hours, much of this is 1:1, or grouped. The new government is now proposing full time. Excellent, astonishing. Last time the conservatives were in power Tuition was a Cinderella service with no funding. I had to buy my own books. During the Labour years we have been funded so that we have laptops to teach with and classrooms for groups.
Now the Conservatives are in power the White paper is suggesting that students who are ill and well enough should have full time provision. Wow, great. But wait, this is the government cutting everywhere. How is this going to be possible? Are we going to become a little school, maybe a PRU for sick kids? If it comes off the Tory party have done something really good. I am still suspicious. Maybe we will become an Academy for Tuition. If so what of our salaries? Maybe we will become a charity? Maybe PRU students can take up bricklaying a build the Tuition kids a school? Whatever happens there looks like change ahead. On the surface of it this looks a really excellent proposal. Experience has taught me not to trust Tories. Is this the influence of the Libs?
I am still confused, but will just have to be content to let time take its course. Wait and see. Patience was never a virtue of mine. I'll never make a teacher!

Istuff
Just realised that there's a new OS for Ipad and phone. Now I am up in the middle of the night updating the things. I am not going to manage at work tomorrow without my ipad. I hope it's not going to take too long and worth it!

First Blog
Well, it's a gloomy day in Weston today. Looking like getting gloomier as Villa re two nil behind to Blackburn.
Looking like a bad season for the Villans.
Not sure what I am going to use my blog for. Any comments about Villa's chances this year? Perhaps Blues in the League Cup?
